About Auto Car Lighting Lab

Auto Car Lighting Lab is a new educational project. The pages estimate beam drop, current, and wattage from numbers you type. Nothing is sold here, and no kit is listed.

This site is not the old Auto Car Lighting shop and does not use that shop’s address, phone number, or catalog. The name on the front is Auto Car Lighting Lab. The domain still points at car lighting, so a driver can find geometry and circuit arithmetic, not a loan tool and not a fuel tool.

The calculators run in the browser. They do not look up a VIN, certify a lamp, or call a result street-legal. The last numbers stay in this browser and are not uploaded. If a page does not compute something, the copy says so in a full sentence.

Start with the headlight aim calculator or the tools list. The guides explain aiming, condensation, aftermarket rules in plain English, and what an LED versus halogen comparison can honestly show.

These pages are educational estimates. They are not a product listing, not DOT or SAE certification, and not legal advice on aftermarket lamps. Aiming and wattage do not make a lamp street-legal. Check the vehicle manual and local law.
